After 8 years I finally decided to watch this anime in 2020. I will describe my impressions of this work very briefly. What can I say, I really like this anime but not to the extent of having goosebumps from watching it. It is indeed a quality anime with interesting characters and plot, detailed setting, a great OST and awesome seiyuu work. Despite the fact that the plot of Fate Zero was not created by Kinoko Nasu, the author of the original Fate Stay Night, this anime fits very harmoniously into the overall outline of the franchise as a prequel to the original series. I should say that to some extent FZ is even superior to the original in almost everything. I can say that FZ is a more adult version of FSN without typical plot shounen-cliches like \u201cprotecting friends\u201d, which was the main canvas in the original series.
\nA few words on characters. They\u2019re all great but I especially sympathize Kotomine Kirei and Gilgamesh. Kirei interested me so much that I even wanted to read a Wiki article about him which is rare for me. All other characters are good but not as complex as those two in my opinion.<\/p>\n
